A book

I take a deep breath,

I catch air and wind and calm.

A tranquil jolt,

My mind reels with pleasure.

My breath is used to dust and traffic panic.

Where the cows graze #Coorg

I take a long look,

I see above me clear blue sprinkled with wispy white,

I see below me green of rainbow shades,

I see in front of me a contour: a contour separating the green and blue.

A tranquil jolt,

My mind reels with pleasure.

My look is used to aimless chaos: a sundry lost souls rushing to and from a meaningless half-life.

The Coorg Paradise

In this getaway day, however, there is no trace of this chaos.

I pause, take a deep look, inside this time.

I see within a brief stillness,

A momentary episode of happiness.

The sunrise #Coorg

This breath and look bereft of man’s heavy game feels so alive.

Only a book which I have been half-reading in between these breaths and sights seems to fit in here.

The book which inspired a book #Coorg
