How To Burn 500 Calories a Day

In the grand scheme of things, 500 calories is fairly easy to burn off. Whatever your reason for wanting to lose some weight, I always reinforce that fact that you should approach weight loss in a healthy manner.

And that a weight loss journey can a last a lifetime. For those are naturally gifted with a healthy metabolism or even those that are motivated to stay consistent, losing weight is a little easier

But for the rest of us, that might be inconsistent or only pay close attention to health when a health scare occurs, losing 500 calories a day is a little bit more challenging.

I’ll admit it, even though I have been active for over 20 years, I still have my days, my weeks and my months when my health isn’t my top priority. Sometimes ‘life’ just gets in the way.

We’re a family of four and sometimes I get distracted with things that are happening with my wife and two kids. But I have had a foundation in place for over two decades. So, when I get off track once in awhile, it doesn’t drastically effect me like it might do to others.

Which is why I’m sharing these tips with you today. I believe, when done safely and effectively, losing 500 calories in a day just might kickstart your health and wellness journey again or it might motivate you to take your calorie-burning quest beyond just one day.

Well, I’ll keep this short and simple.

When I think of ‘burning calories’, I equate this with losing weight and that’s it. If I want to lose weight, burn fat or drop some pounds , I need to burn calories. That is usually the extent of it.

And really, there isn’t much more to it than that. Except when I learned what it is that I’m actually doing by burning calories.
